Adams Country Regional Medical Center offers highly specialized range of both Inpatient and Outpatient surgical procedures. Our facility has two operating rooms and one endoscopy room.

Our specialty physicians/surgeons also provide patient services in the Outpatient Clinic, enabling patients to have most pre-surgical and post-surgical follow-up appointments at ACRMC.

Surgical Services:

 Gastroenterology-- EGD and colonoscopy procedures are available on an outpatient basis from a group of highly skilled
     gastroenterologists from the Ohio Liver and GI Institute in Cincinnati, Ohio.

 General Surgery--We offer a wide range of surgical procedures. Most procedures are provided on an outpatient basis,
    therefore avoiding a hospital stay. Laproscopic procedures, which minimize patient risk and recovery time, such as
    gallbladder removal and hernia repair are available. Other general surgical procedures performed are insertion and
     removal of port-a caths, breast biopsies, removal of masses or cysts, placement of arterial venous fistula and peritoneal
    dialysis catheter placement.

 Gynecology--Gynecological services focus on outpatient procedures and provide laparoscopy, hysteroscopy and uterine
    ablation as well as bladder suspension procedures. New technology available enables visualization of the abdominal cavity
     for diagnosis.

 Orthopedic Surgery--Both inpatient and outpatient orthopedic surgical services are available. We provide many
    procedures relating to joint care including joint replacement. We perform arthroscopic and open shoulder repair, total hip
     and knee replacement, ACL repair (Anterior Cruciate Ligament) and carpal tunnel release.

 Podiatric Services—Podiatrists provide surgical services for foot and ankle care.

 Ophthalmology--Physicians from the Midwest Eye Center of Cincinnati provide cataract surgery, utilizing the most current
     technologic equipment available.

 Otolaryngology (ENT)--Tonsillectomy, placement of ear tubes, and adenoidectomy are among the ENT procedures
     available.

 Urology—Urologists provide services such as Cystoscopy, stent placement and Prostate procedures.

 Pain Management--Radiological guided injections for the management of chronic pain are available for patients who have
     had a thorough physical examination and screening.
